Welcome to the 2026/27 Season

Bold, brilliant, and born here in our home city – discover the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra’s brand-new season.

Throughout the year, we’ll be celebrating landmark figures, spotlighting new creativity and showcasing the energy, the talent and the diversity of Liverpool, one of the world’s greatest music cities.

You’ll hear roof-raising symphonies and inventive new sounds, music from the movies, from the charts and from around the globe, plus iconic masterpieces brought to life by superstar artists. We’ll be soundtracking your year with music that moves you, excites you, uplifts you. We’ll be sharing beloved musical traditions and delivering favourites for the whole family. So whether you’re a long-time listener or exploring classical music for the first time, we know you’ll find something that’s perfect for you right here at the Phil.

Our Chief Conductor Domingo Hindoyan brings you a diverse programme packed with music he adores – get ready for Mahler’s Symphony No.2, choral classics, beloved works by Elgar, Mendelssohn and Brahms, vibrant Latin American flavours and an epic, fortnight-long celebration of Beethoven’s groundbreaking symphonies.

Throughout the season, we’ll be shining a spotlight on our Composer in Focus, the multi award-winning Caroline Shaw, and we’ll be welcoming world-renowned artists to our stage including Nobuyuki Tsujii, Víkingur Ólafsson, Clara-Jumi Kang, Mariam Batsashvili, Sir Bryn Terfel, Pacho Flores, Jeneba Kanneh-Mason and so many more.
