Support the Next Generation of Composers
In January 2027, Chief Conductor Domingo Hindoyan will lead a complete cycle of Beethoven's symphonies, celebrating one of history's most influential composers. Alongside these landmark performances, six new orchestral works will receive their world premieres, creating a dialogue between Beethoven's music and the voices of today's emerging composers.
Each new work has been commissioned from an artist at a pivotal stage in their career, including a Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Company member, a previous Rushworth Composition Prize winner, and an emerging composer from the Liverpool City Region.
Your support will help provide professional mentoring, workshops and orchestration support, enabling these composers to develop their work and hear it performed for the first time by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.
A donation of £1,250 could cover the cost of a professional arranger. £150 could fund a one-to-one mentoring session with a professional composer, helping a young musician prepare their work for full orchestra.
Every donation will help create opportunities for exceptional emerging talent and ensure audiences experience not only the masterpieces of the past, but the new music that will shape the future.
Make your donation today and help bring the next generation of composers to the concert stage.
