Love Music: From the First Note

Love Music: From the First Note

Young people are at the heart of everything we do at Liverpool Philharmonic

Our new campaign, Love Music: From the First Note, raises money in support of:

Schools’ Concerts

Introducing live orchestral music to 18,000 schoolchildren each year.

The thrill of hearing a full symphony orchestra for the first time can be the spark that ignites a lifelong love of music, inspiring children to broaden their horizons and take part in music making.

In Harmony Liverpool

Transforming young lives and communities in some of the most economically disadvantaged areas of Liverpool through orchestral music tuition.

This year, we celebrated the 10th birthday of In Harmony Liverpool, which currently gives 1,500 children and young people in Anfield and Everton access to free-of-charge music tuition. Your support will ensure this programme’s future.

‘I don’t think I would be who I am now if I hadn’t had the experience. I am so much more confident and stronger’. In Harmony Pupil

Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Company

Supporting talented young musicians to achieve their potential and fulfill their ambitions through Orchestras, Choirs, masterclasses, touring and more.

‘It’s amazing how the Youth Company changes you from being nervous doing your audition, to performing solo recitals in St George’s Hall Concert Room!’

With your help, we can achieve even more, reaching out to more young people, more families and more schools.
