Kate then trained at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, under the tutelage of Krzysztof Śmietana and Stephanie Gonley.

Kate joined Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in 2006 immediately after college. During this time she has enjoyed lots of fun tours with the Orchestra and enjoyed performing alongside excellent guest musicians.
