Violist Fiona Stunden is originally from Bedford. She studied at London’s Guildhall School with Jack Glickman, graduating in 1992. After that, Fiona freelanced for a couple of years before joining the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in 1995. She was no stranger to the Orchestra, however, having joined them on their 1993 tour of Singapore.
Fiona’s time with the Orchestra has featured many highlights, including the 2008 City of Culture performances and both the concerts and free-time activities while on tours in Japan.
Fun Fact:
Fiona is a self-confessed crazy cat lady, with two elderly long-haired cats – Molly and Tinkerbell. She also enjoys repairing and riding motorcycles, and baking. She is also a carer. If she weren’t a professional musician, she would have liked to work as a therapist.
