Elizabeth Lamberton

First Violin
Adopted by Peter Eustance, and Mike & Joanne Jones

Elizabeth Lamberton studied with a scholarship at the Purcell School before attending the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester University and the Royal Academy of Music, where she held the Florence Whitlock Scholarship.

After being a member of the EUYO and the LPO’s Foyle Future Firsts scheme and briefly pursuing her love of teaching Elizabeth joined the first violin section of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in 2013. Alongside this, she has worked with many other orchestras and ensembles over the years.

Some memorable career highlights to date include seeing Tokyo from the top of the Skytree, walking the streets of Bucharest with her now husband Dave (who also plays violin in the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra) and having her own dressing room at the 2021 Prom due to her second child’s imminent birth date!

She now spends her time juggling work, parenthood and her newfound love of running. She specialises in creating delicious meals from the random odds and sods from the back of the fridge.
