Earth, 2026. Aliens arrive on our planet and try to work one thing out: what matters most to humans?
Today, alongside conductor Mike Seal, presenter Alasdair Malloy and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, we’ll help to answer that question. Music is used to deliver big ideas and essential messages to people all around the world, and in this concert, we’ll discover music that takes on important topics – everything from conservation and the environment to the rights of children across the globe. We’ll see how composers have used their works to share information, and learn all about the challenges facing the planet we call home.
