Julian Taylor plus very special guest Michele Stodart

JUNO and Polaris Prize-nominated Canadian singer-songwriter Julian Taylor returns with a special run of shows, celebrating his acclaimed blend of soulful Americana, folk rock and alt-country.

Taylor's profoundly moving songs, exploring themes of mixed heritage, commitment and the human condition, have earned him global praise. He brings an explosive and captivating live show, with his phenomenal, all-female band – Michele Stodart (bass, vocals), Raevennen Husbandes (guitar, vocals) and Siân Monaghan (drums) – providing the organic, rhythmic groove that drives Julian’s signature sound.

As an added treat, Michele Stodart (best known as the bassist and co-songwriter of The Magic Numbers) will perform an opening solo set of her own acclaimed material before joining Julian for the headline performance.

This double-bill offers a rare opportunity to see two masterful artists and an incredible rhythm section in one unforgettable night.

“…one of the strongest Americana recordings we’ve heard year to date.” – Glide Magazine

“Lush… poignant…” – American Songwriter

“…crisp, modern, and listenable… the folky, rootsy facets of the album feel entirely intuitive, raw, and perfectly placed… a stunning work of country-folk…” – The Bluegrass Situation
