Vidura is a Sri Lankan comedian, writer, and director based in London, via Malaysia and Berlin. His dead-pan style puts audiences at ease while challenging conventional wisdom with a unique tone that is often irreverent, at times poignant, and always hysterical.

His self directed, produced, written, and performed debut show Monsoon Season garnered much online attention and critical acclaim, and is currently being streamed on 800 Pound Gorilla's social platforms.

His accolades in competition as a comedian include being a finalist in: Leicester Square New Act of the Year, Berlin Best New Comedian, 2Northdown New Act Competition as well as being shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Awards.

Vidura's writing saw his script The Ref be selected for the London Screenwriting Festival Shorts Lab 2021.

Vidura’s previous work as a director includes: A Narrative Short, Native Number Four, the Award Winner for Best First Time Director and Best Comedy Short at the Berlin Indie Film Festival.

Tickets for this event include a £1 venue restoration levy, included in the ticket price. This fee supports building investment at the Grade II-listed Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.
