Liverpool Acoustic are delighted to present a special concert featuring Visions of Albion performing Carole King's iconic album Tapestry in its entirety.
Released in 1971, Tapestry quickly became one of the biggest-selling albums of all time and is widely regarded as a classic of the singer-songwriter genre. With hits such as 'I Feel the Earth Move', 'You've Got a Friend', and 'It's Too Late', Tapestry cemented Carole King's reputation as one of the greatest songwriters of her generation.
Visions of Albion are a Liverpool-based duo consisting of Samantha Shields on lead vocals and Daniel Ryan on guitar.
For this unique concert, Visions of Albion will perform Tapestry in its entirety alongside a collective of musicians consisting of Chris Jones on bass, Helen Maw on piano, Anthony Longworth on drums, and a string arrangement by Amy Chalmers.
Bringing to life the album's intimate and heartfelt melodies, with arrangements that capture the warmth and subtlety of Carole King's original recordings, the concert promises to be a celebration of one of the greatest works of popular music, featuring some of the finest musicians in Liverpool.
