My Darling Clementine (Michael Weston King & Lou Dalgleish) close out the year with a special show on Thursday 10th December, returning to the Liverpool Philharmonic Music Room with their signature blend of classic country duets, richly drawn storytelling, and beautifully observed songs of love, loss and longing. Following their acclaimed previous appearances, this new date offers something different.

They will play 2 one hour sets;
The first a deep dive into the back catalogue, featuring My Darling Clementine classics, fan favourites, and some lesser heard album cuts.

The second set will shine a spotlight on their individual voices. With both releasing solo albums this year, Lou and Michael will present a number of these new songs, accompanied by a full band.

Michael’s album Nothing Can Hurt Me Anymore, released in April, has received universal praise and is being widely regarded as his finest ever work. Lou’s album will be released in the Autumn and this show affords fans the chance to hear some of her new songs for the very first time.

Both these solo albums have been born out of personal tragedy and grief, and as a way to process an unimaginable loss. Their ability to move seamlessly from heartbreak to hope, from sharp storytelling to lush harmony, makes every performance feel like a conversation set to music.

The unmistakable chemistry between King & Dalgleish has made My Darling Clementine one of the most compelling duos on the Americana scene . Expect finely crafted songs, wry humour, and the emotional depth that has become their trademark.

For long‑time fans and new listeners alike, Liverpool Acoustic’s final Music Room show of the year promises an evening of warmth, wit and world‑class songwriting from two artists at the height of their powers.
