Merry Hell: Rising of The Bold

From the first chord to the final chorus, Merry Hell deliver an electrifying live experience.

With five critically acclaimed albums to their name, this Wigan-born collective has carved out a reputation as one of the UK’s most dynamic bands. Rooted in the rich soil of British folk heritage, they reimagine the tradition, producing songs inspired by love, loss, hope and defiance that are both timeless and fiercely contemporary.

A festival favourite, Merry Hell have become synonymous with high-energy performances and heartfelt storytelling. Their recent appearance at Folk on the Farm in Anglesey was hailed as a masterclass in modern folk-rock, while their previous shows here in the Music Room had fans dancing in the aisles and singing every word.

Their newest release, Rising Of The Bold, blends anthemic choruses with poetic insight, with standout tracks including ‘Emergency Lullaby’ and ‘We Are The Change’.

Whether you’re a seasoned folk aficionado or a newcomer looking for something real, Merry Hell invite you to be part of the journey.
