Leo Middea

Leo Middea returns to Liverpool to celebrate the release of his new album Notícias de Puglia (Agogo Records). With more than 400 shows performed across 18 countries in the past years and over 20 million streams on Spotify, the Brazilian singer-songwriter has become one of the most active and resonant Brazilian voices in Europe. His music blends MPB, samba, bossa nova and contemporary Brazilian pop, creating a warm, heartfelt atmosphere where stories and melodies connect Brazil to the world.

Rio De Janeiro troubadour, guitarist and songwriter Leo Middea has been writing since he can remember. His love for Brazil, the music, flavours, energy and its contrasts are rendered through his songs, his lyrics a homage to Brazilian people and culture, and a musician’s life, on the road.

His new album Notícias de Puglia (Agogo Records, 2026) written across two years of touring and travel, is his sixth studio album - a collection of songs born on the road, filled with stories of love, identity and freedom. It reflects the emotions of a life in motion, combining heartfelt lyrics with vibrant, melodic arrangements that celebrate the beauty of human connection.
