Sound of the North: Liverpool and Manchester's Mayors in conversation

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Liverpool and Manchester stand proudly among the world’s greatest music cities, but what does their future sound like? Who are the emerging voices shaping the next chapter and how are our city leaders helping the music communities to thrive?

This event brings together Steve Rotheram, Mayor of the Liverpool City Region, and Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester, for a candid and engaging discussion about their vision for music in their regions and the artists that have inspired them past and present.

All proceeds of this event will go towards the Liverpool Philharmonic's In Harmony programme for young people in North Liverpool and will be followed by a standing room only Mayoral DJ Battle in our Music Room. This head-to-head in music will bring big tunes, some friendly rivalry and guest performances by Mancunian and Liverpudlian artists picked by the Mayors.

Mayoral DJ Battle (£5) - available to add on during checkout

Tickets for the Mayoral DJ Battle are only available to 200 ticket buyers so book now if you want to be at both events!

 Support In Harmony Liverpool Philharmonic

Proceeds from the evening will go to In Harmony Liverpool Philharmonic, helping us to bring the joy of music to more children and young people across Liverpool. Find out more here.
