RETURNS WITH HIS 100% UNSCRIPTED SPOKEN WORD SHOWS

After the success of his MAXIMUM CHAT tour in 2025, the THUNDER front man returns with UNDER PRESSURE in April 2027.

Still unable to sing (after his stroke in 2022), Danny’s going back on the road with a completely unscripted tour. The entire show will be based on questions provided by the audience. Brave or just barking mad?

Danny says:-

“I had to learn to do almost everything all over again after what I like to refer to as my “occurrence” in 2022. I wasn’t able to sing (I’m still working on that), but having spent all my adult life on stage, I had an itch I just couldn’t scratch, and I felt I needed to prove to myself that I could still put on a show. I was mentally and physically exhausted afterwards, but the tour worked, which was a massive relief!

Maximum Chat was filled with stories of my life, both before and after I joined a band, and there was a Q&A section. This was the bit where the audience got to ask me anything, and I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect to but I enjoyed it much more than telling the stories. The questions were written on cards by the audience and posted in a box. I then picked the ones to answer. I was fine with telling the stories, but the questions were a bit scary, as I had no clue what was coming until I saw them the first time. Consequently, I don’t mind telling you my bottom was “all of a quiver” every night! When I answered the questions in the show, I know it sounds strange, but it felt like there was someone on stage interviewing me, and I really liked it. So much so that I’ve decided Under Pressure will be a 100% Q&A show, so it’s going to be completely unstructured, and entirely based on questions from the people in the room. It means all of us (the audience and not just me) will be “under pressure” to create a great show, and it will be different every night of course!

See what I did there?”
