Experience Mussorgsky’s musical ‘gallery crawl’ past whimsical drawings on display in his glittering Pictures at an Exhibition — from the eerie Parisian Catacombs to The Great Gate of Kiev’s tumultuous pealing of our Orchestra’s newest bell in the thunderous finale. Dvořák’s Carnival Overture celebrates life’s high spirits, whilst the incredible violinist, Timothy Chooi, brings us Saint-Saëns’ vivid and spirited third violin concerto.
