The UK’s most renowned big band swings you back in time playing Glenn Miller’s own arrangements of favourite wartime chart-toppers and hits from the forties directed by legendary band leader Ray McVay.

'Juke Box Saturday Night', 'Flying Home', 'Running Wild', 'Hawaiian War Chant', 'Moonglow', 'Sentimental Journey', 'Perfidia', 'Opus One', 'Hot Toddy'.

Plus all your favourites including 'Moonlight Serenade', 'Little Brown Jug', 'String of Pearls', 'Kalamazoo', 'Pennsylvania 6-5000', 'American Patrol', 'Tuxedo Junction' and 'In the Mood.

Guest vocalists: Mark Porter and Catherine Sykes. And special guests The Swing Time Jivers.

The orchestra will perform the second half of the concert in the World War II uniforms of the US army Air Force.
