The true spirit of flamenco is wild, strange, and driven by a passion – a fire – that can’t be extinguished. And in Spain, there’s one name that says it all: Juan Manuel Cañizares, a guitarist born into the flamenco tradition who’s also one of the supreme classical virtuosos of our time. Today, with his fabulous palmeros (the flamenco performers who clap rhythmically) he performs his Concierto Al- Andalus – before Vasily Petrenko and the Orchestra throw themselves into the sultry, warm-blooded world of Manuel de Falla’s The Three-Cornered Hat.

8% administrative fee applies to most telephone/online orders (excluding Schools Concerts). Postage is included in this fee. More information about booking fees.
