Experience Tours: Play (for families)

Have you ever wondered what happens backstage, wanted to see the dressing rooms, been curious about the workings of the UK’s oldest continuing professional symphony orchestra, or wanted to learn more about the heritage of our glorious Art Deco building?

A super-engaging tour for the whole family, you’ll experience what it’s like to play an instrument centre- stage, hold the conductor’s baton and enjoy a live demonstration by a Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra musician. Tours last about 90 minutes and are suitable for children aged 5+.

Our tours are accessible – if you have access requirements, please call us to make your booking, so we can accommodate your requirements.

Tickets for children under 18 months are free and we recommend the family concerts are most suitable for children aged 4-10 years. For more info, please click here.
