Booze Points!

The Wines of Eurovision

This Eurovision we're taking you far beyond Buck's Fizz… as the Orchestra prepare to bring you Douze Points! in the Hall, join us as we delve into the delectable delights of Europe's vineyards.

Cabernet Sauvignon and Conchita Wurst, Chardonnay and Celine Dion – we think that Eurovision and wine are the perfect pairing. Enter: Booze Points! We’ve enlisted Patrick Gossage from R&H Wines to lead us on a guided tour of European wines – and in true Eurovision style, you’ll award douze to nil points to each one. By the end of the evening, after the jury's votes have been tallied (and we’ve called round every country in the continent… perhaps), we'll crown our Eurovision Wine winner.

So if you're ready to summon your inner sommelier, put on your glad rags (there'll be prizes for best dressed) and meet us in the Music Room. We're pulling out all the stops – we've got charcuterie platters, luxury European cheeses, antipasti and, of course, a selection of the finest wines from continental vines. And if you’re joining us for Douze Points! afterwards, what better way to get the party started?
