Joan As Police Woman

Highly acclaimed American songwriter Joan As Police Woman comes to Liverpool as part of a select series of special solo shows, her first since 2019.

She will perform highlights from her remarkable songbook stretching right back to her classic 2006 debut Real Life. Joan will strip back her original music to its very essence using only her voice, piano and guitar, and as always when Joan sings straight from her heart, people listen, intently.

'The coolest woman in pop'
The Times
Alongside consistent creativity and live performance, she regularly says ‘yes' to a wide variety of interesting collaborations, including Damon Albarn, Gorillaz, Lou Reed, Tony Allen, Beck, Afel Bocoum, Meshell Ndegeocello, Toshi Reagon, David Sylvian, Benjamin Lazar Davis, Sparklehorse, Laurie Anderson, Sufjan Stevens, John Cale, Aldous Harding, Woodkid, Justin Vivian Bond, RZA, Norah Jones, Lau, Doveman, Rufus Wainwright and Daniel Johnston.

Joan As Police Woman solo shows are always in high demand, living long in the memory of her passionate fans and music lovers globally.

'Joan As Police Woman is one of the 21st century’s best musicians'
