Emily Saunders

Dubbed the ‘UK’s queen of jazz-fusion’, critically acclaimed and supremely talented singer-songwriter and producer Emily Saunders takes any stage by storm and returns to the Music Room for International Women’s Day 2025 with her spellbinding set of original songs. Emily’s music has hit the Top 10 in international streaming charts including the UK and the US, and earned multiple 4-star reviews from papers including The Guardian, Evening Standard and The Independent.

Presenting her most powerful work to date MOON SHIFTS OCEANS, she has again raised the bar, offering a powerhouse of hits, and is hailed by critics as the breakout star for 2025. Saunders keeps you hooked from the first track, her upbeat, soul-infused album blends smoky vocals with jazz-fusion and folk-pop sensuality. Emily crafts a deeply personal and emotional soundscape, evoking magical nights filled with warmth, connection, and freedom.

Singer, songwriter, arranger, and producer of all her music, her songs, lyrics, and voice serve as a soundtrack to life, blending multiple shades of emotion and experience. Emily’s engaging, distinctive vocals, and hands-on production blend pop and soul-jazz with echoes of Brazilian/broken beats. Her songs explore love, connection, freedom, and hope, crafting an atmosphere of enchantment and celebration.

Saunders’ voice is rich and magnetic, wrapping around melodies with effortless grace and artistry. Expect catchy songs and vibrant rhythms - a lively and engaging mix of jazz, pop, jazz-fusion, nujazz, funk - full of ear-worms, memorable grooves and melodies.

A powerhouse of change in the music industry – having led anti-harassment campaigns and founded initiatives to support independent artists – Emily will take to the stage on the eve of International Women’s Day and showcase just why she’s an inspiration to so many.
