One of the UK's most accomplished songwriters, Blair Dunlop is back on tour in anticipation of his fifth studio album, Let’s Get Out of the Rain. This will be Blair’s first Studio album since 2018's Notes from an Island. Where ‘Notes’ was an introspective analysis of Brexit Britain, the new collection is a celebration of spring, newness and freedom. Songs of metamorphosis and wide screen road trips prevail.
Blair burst onto the folk scene in 2012 with his debut solo album, Blight & Blossom, which garnered him the 'Horizon Award' at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards along with critical acclaim. Appearances at Glastonbury and the major Folk Festivals followed, along with breakthrough tours of Australia. Blair is now firmly established as a household name amongst respected British songwriters.
