
For the 20th consecutive year, St. Mary’s College Crosby is mounting another showcase of the musical talents of its pupils. The concert will feature over 250 musicians from a range of different musical ensembles from the College and its Preparatory School, The Mount.
The concert will take the audience on a musical journey from Vivaldi to Vaughan Williams as the talented young musicians perform pieces from a wide range of styles and genres. Highlights will include Vivaldi’s Gloria, Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony, Vaughan Williams’ English Folk SongSuite and music from the big screen by Vangelis and John Williams.
Compered by BBC Radio Merseyside’s Roger Phillips, the evening will be conducted by Director of Music Andrew Byers and assisted by Colin Johnston.
