Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra

Stravinsky Octet
Dani Howard Trombone Concerto (world premiere, Liverpool Philharmonic commission)
Ravel Le Tombeau de Couperin
Prokofiev Symphony No.1 ‘Classical’

Domingo Hindoyan conductor
Peter Moore
 trombone

Don’t miss Domingo Hindoyan’s first concert since his announcement as Chief Conductor Designate last June. He brings us a beautifully contrasting programme with Stravinsky’s spicy Octet for wind instruments, delicious music from Ravel and Prokofiev’s ‘Classical’ Symphony.

But there is also a new creation - a brand new concerto written by the talented Dani Howard for the sensational trombonist Peter Moore. Howard’s previous compositions for the Orchestra were very well received by audiences and critics alike.
