Simon Emery conductor
Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Orchestra

It's summer, it's hot, and the brilliant young players of the Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and conductor Simon Emery will be on fire in this sizzling concert. There’s majesty from Grieg, high-kicking Latin rhythms from Ginastera, and finally the spectacular descent of Mason Bates’s Mothership: a neon-lit, genre-bending musical close encounter of the third kind, with an electrifying beat. Come and feel the energy for yourself.
