
Co-writer of award-winning TV shows and films such as The Royle Family, The Mrs Merton Showand The Parole Officer, and producer of Gavin and Stacey, Moone Boy, Alan Partridge and the Oscar-nominated Philomena, Henry returns to his first love: poetry. Here, he showcases work from Staring Directly at the Eclipse, his first collection of poetry for over 20 years, including poems from his acclaimed BBC R4 programme A Normal Family. As well as his trademark humour, the show covers the subjects of death, loneliness, loss, human frailty and other classic conversation stoppers.
