Winners of the Tunnell Trust Awards 2020, the Elmore String Quartet is a dynamic young ensemble formed at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) in 2017. The group found early success winning RNCM Chamber Music Prizes, before going on to perform recitals across the UK. They’ve since taken second place at Wigmore Hall’s CAVATINA Intercollegiate Chamber Music Competition, been appointed Junior Fellows in Chamber Music at the RNCM and recorded for BBC Philharmonic’s Diversity in Music programme.
