The medieval priests who wrote the words to Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana certainly knew how to party. There’s nothing sacred about Orff’s outrageous cantata, just great tunes and some thoroughly bad behaviour. In Orff’s punchy version for pianos and percussion (performed without the Orchestra), it’ll raise the roof.
