Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Academy Orchestra

Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Academy Orchestra is an ambitious full symphony orchestra for young musicians up to the age of 18, working at grades 4-7 level on an orchestral instrument.

We are looking to recruit talented young musicians who want to experience working in a large ensemble with other creative, like-minded musicians. You will be part of an exciting community of young creatives working on incredible pieces of orchestral repertoire. High quality performance opportunities will be at the heart of the orchestra, with frequent performances at Liverpool’s iconic concert venue, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.

As a musician in the Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Academy Orchestra, you will develop your individual and ensemble performance skills in an exciting and fun symphony orchestra,. You will rehearse and perform alongside your peers, coached and conducted by some of the UK’s top professional musicians from Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, and supported by musicians from Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. This ensemble will help you to develop greater confidence, both socially and musically, and you will make new friendships with young musicians from across the region.
