Liverpool Philharmonic Children's Choir & Melody Makers

Liverpool Philharmonic Children’s Choir & Melody Makers offer an excellent introduction to choral singing for children aged 7 – 12 from in and around Liverpool.

The choirs sing a wide range of enjoyable and exciting music with performance opportunities throughout the year at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall and other venues, including performing at our annual family Christmas concerts with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.

Melody Makers is for children in school years 3 and 4

Children’s Choir is for children in school years 5, 6 and 7

The choirs receive outstanding choral training under the direction of Alison White at weekly rehearsals and benefit from general musicianship and vocal technique sessions with experienced tutors using Kodaly and other methods.

Both choirs rehearse on a Monday evening in central Liverpool during term time. Children do not need to read music or audition to be a part of these two amazing choirs. As long as your child loves singing and wants to learn with other children in an interactive and inclusive way, they can join!

If you have questions or want to find out more about Children’s Choir and Melody Makers please contact youthcompany@liverpoolphil.com or call 0151 210 2895 and ask for a member of the Learning Team.
