Callout for Freelance Musicians in Barrow-in-Furness

Are you a freelance musician interested in opportunities to work as part of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic's award-winning Learning Programme?

We are launching a brand-new Youth Hub as part of our residency in Barrow-in-Furness and looking for exceptional musicians to join the team. We’ll be holding a recruitment pop-up on Wednesday 25 June from 4.15-7pm in Barrow to share our plans, and would love to meet you. Please contact Isobel Mortimer, Barrow Producer on isobel.mortimer@liverpoolphil.com for further information.

Barrow Youth Hub will be based in the heart of Barrow and has been designed to reach young people who face significant barriers to engaging in sustained music making. Part of In Harmony Liverpool Philharmonic, Barrow Youth Hub will combine youth club culture with instrumental learning, singing, creative music making and live performance, enabling young people to have fun, make friends, fulfil their potential and develop crucial life skills.  We are working alongside brilliant partners and looking forward to sharing all the possibilities that this exciting programme will bring!

Barrow Youth Hub has been developed following in-depth consultation with partners across the town and forms part of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra’s residency in Barrow-in-Furness.
