Nathalie Forget is one of the new young exponents of the ondes martenot, an early electronic music instrument that Messiaen famously used in the Turangalîla Symphony (see 25 January concert), and which has been frequently used in film and pop music since. She will introduce both the instrument and her varied evening, including music specially written for the instrument by composers of the second half of the 20th century.
Seating is unreserved and doors open one hour prior to the performance start time.
