We regret that due to serious illness, Lizanne Knott is sadly no longer able to appear in this concert. We are pleased to announce that her place will be taken by Laura Oakes.
A Nashville-style ‘In The Round’ concert featuring the combined talents of these three hugely gifted artists, Laura Oakes, Jesse Terry & Michael Logen.
The concert includes solo performances as the artists play a selection of songs from their respective past and present releases. The artists will also combine on duets and never seen before collaborations, and share the stories behind their songs.
Laura's love for Dolly Parton, David Gates and the Dixie Chicks may seem an unusual music taste for a teenager from Liverpool, North West England, but a visit to Grand Ole Opry in Nashville at the age of 18 proved to be an overwhelming and life-defining experience, driving her to realise her dream of writing and singing country music.
The UK country scene is one that is growing at a rapid pace and Laura has been at the forefront of it, winning ‘Best Female Vocalist’ at the British Country Music Awards for two consecutive years. Laura has enjoyed live dates at some of the UK’s most prestigious festivals and stages. Her latest acoustic EP Nashville Stole Your Girl was released end of September 2017 and achieved No.5 in the iTunes UK Country Music Chart and received critical acclaim, securing a session on Bob Harris’ BBC Radio 2 show.
With his down-to-earth appeal and deceptively sharp writing, Jesse Terry plants himself firmly among the most promising singer-songwriters of his generation. His 2009 debut The Runnerintroduced him as an inspired prodigy with the potential to score big on the Americana scene.
Michael McCall of the Nashville Scene lauded Terry for offering 'a sophisticated melodic touch to his tender musings about love and finding his place in the world'. While the sounds of popular music become increasingly inflated, he wades into the fray with graceful, understated arrangements that embrace his ambitious songs.
Michael Logen is an international pop/folk artist, opening in 2009 for John Legend, Jonny Lang and Sister Hazel in the U.S.
Songs from Michael's album Things I Failed To Mention were featured on MTV's Real World and ABC's Kyle XY and won multiple awards, including International Songwriting Competition 2009 'Song of the Year Award' in Folk/Singer-Songwriter Category and Unisong International Songwriting Competition 2009 'Song of the Year' in Americana Category.

In this brand new show, Lee shares his stage with a tough-talking werewolf comedian from the dark forests of North America who hates humanity. The Man-Wulf lays down a ferocious comedy challenge to the culturally irrelevant and enfeebled Lee.
