Like Grieg’s famous Peer Gynt suite, this is music with a huge, glowing heart, simply packed with tunes – and with the young swiss star (and Leeds International Piano Competition prize winner) Louis schwizgebel at the keyboard, you’re guaranteed a lot more than just all right notes in the right order! Back by popular demand, conductor Gilbert Varga adds a dash of paprika with two showpieces from his ancestral hungary.
