A pianistically virtuosic quintet by Louise Farrenc is the centrepiece this evening, together with a string quartet by Dorothy Howell and a piano trio by American composer Jennifer Higdon. We’ll also hear some dazzling solo pieces performed by William, and three captivating pieces by Nadia Boulanger.
