Music to last a lifetime

You love music, and you never have to stop making it. Share your talents, share in our community – and be part of great music experiences too. Here’s how you can get involved with music-making at the Phil.

Music Mondays

We know that great things happen when you add a little music to your day. It lifts you up, calms you down and gives you a whole new perspective.

Music Mondays are part of the Phil’s Social Prescribing programme, open to anyone aged 18+ in the Liverpool City Region. Run by Liverpool Philharmonic musician Ian, the sessions are all about bringing people together, learning about music and connecting with others through creativity. And it all takes place in a relaxed, friendly and safe environment – the Music Room here at the Phil.

You don’t need to have any musical experience or play an instrument to come along – and you can take part in as many sessions as you fancy. We’d just love you to try it out and join us for some music-making, and there’s even free tea and coffee to enjoy.

Music Mondays are completely free, but you’ll need to book in, so we know how many people to expect.

Music Mondays will take place at 10.30am and 11.30am on:

  • Monday 12 October 2026
  • Monday 9 November 2026
  • Monday 23 November 2026
