Will Young

Performing with his full band, celebrating all the hits.

Since catapulting virtually-overnight to international fame from winning the inaugural Pop Idol in 2002, Will Young has carved a flourishing career in music and stage, earning two BRIT Awards, an Olivier Award nomination, four No.1 and eleven UK Top 10 albums, and eleven Top 10 singles.

Young’s unforgettable debut ‘Anything Is Possible / Evergreen’ sold over 1.7 million copies, making it the second best-selling single of the 21st century in the UK and one of the UK’s Top 20 best-selling singles of all time. The entertainment phenomenon that was Pop Idol gripped the nation’s heart, pulling in an average of 10 million viewers. Not only did Young’s win set the bar for countless stars that followed in the global Idol franchise – like Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson and Carrie Underwood – it also reshaped the music industry and popular culture.

More impressively; Young proved to have real staying power, guided by his innate musical talent and intuition with songs. Hits such as ‘Light My Fire’, ‘Leave Right Now’ and ‘Jealousy’ are cemented as pillars in British pop music of this century, while his ability to captivate listeners through a diverse palette of original songs by Burt Bacharach to Sia, Groove Armada and Nithin Sawhney, shows why he is a timeless talent.
