Women and Music: A Liverpool Story RetoldBook tickets
Join in a day of forgotten stories, lost sounds and upbeat contemporary tales which will retell the history of music in Liverpool.
The day will include a light lunch, live music from musicians from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and academics from University of Liverpool, Liverpool Hope University and Open University sharing their research into making visible women’s roles in our musical city, and women who work in today's music industry demonstrating their contribution to Liverpool's vibrant cultural scenes
As a further part of Women and Music: A Liverpool story retold, University of Liverpool and Royal Philharmonic Society will be hosting a one-day conducting workshops for women on Sunday 17th March 2019. Full details of the workshop can be found here.
