Lunchtime Concerts

Singers from European Opera Centre

Since the European Opera Centre moved to Liverpool in 2004, it has brought many of the finest young European voices to the city. Many of these singers are now performing major roles internationally. This recital gives an opportunity to hear popular operatic arias performed by the next generation of outstanding artists involved over the previous weeks in the Falstaff project with Sir Bryn Terfel. The event also expresses the European Opera Centre’s appreciation of its past support from the European Union by marking the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, when Europe began to come together after WWII.

Join us in the Music Room for a musical interlude to your busy day with our series of Lunchtime Concerts. These concerts, all of which feature musicians and ensembles from the Orchestra, last about an hour and are just £8.

Please note that seating in the Music Room is unreserved. Doors open at 12 noon.
