Presented in partnership with The Tung Auditorium

Robert Vincent

Liverpool singer-songwriter Robert Vincent returns to the Tung Auditorium with his band to launch his brand new album Separate The Fiction From The Fact.

Known for never shying away from the politics of the day, Vincent’s message is stronger than ever in his new work. Echoes of "Love Not Hate, Sleep and Repeat" (the closing line of the title track) and Robert’s soaring vocals are sure to be ringing out across the auditorium.

Changing the set up this year to a full band Robert reflects "I think it is important for the instrumental line up to reflect the production choices of the new album and I’m so excited to bring the new songs to the The Tung Auditorium".

Robert Vincent’s 2024 release Barriers became a landmark moment. The record drew widespread critical acclaim and spent multiple weeks in the Country Music Charts but more significantly, it crossed over beyond genre, reaching the Top 10 of both the Independent Album Chart and the Record Store Chart. Critics recognised a step change, "he is now recognised as one of the UK’s best songwriters irrespective of genre" (Americana UK), “Robert has transcended that [Americana] genre and is now a singer‑songwriter, without actual musical barriers” (Rocking Magpie).

With an impressive and ever-growing list of champions including Mary Chapin Carpenter (with whom there is a collaboration on the new album) Robert Plant and Whispering Bob Harris, Vincent’s live show is not to be missed.
