Liverpool Philharmonic Hall
Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra
- First Essay for Orchestra
- Violin Concerto
- Don Juan
- Suite from Der Rosenkavalier
- Robert Trevino
- Nicola Benedetti
There’s only one Nicola Benedetti – and there’s only one Brahms Violin Concerto. Combine Britain’s favourite violinist with one of the world’s most romantic violin concertos, add the young American powerhouse maestro Robert Trevino (for the first time in Liverpool), and – well, enough said, really!
Except this concert also features Richard Strauss at his most shamelessly seductive, retelling the legend of history’s greatest lothario before slipping between the silken sheets of his gorgeous Der Rosenkavalier suite. And if you love Barber’s Adagio for Strings, you really need to hear his atmospheric First Essay.
Parking for this concert is available at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral car park for £4. You can book and pre-pay for parking when you click on ‘Book Tickets’.
