From his debut as a jazz-influenced blues artist to his evolution into a pop music iconoclast, singer-songwriter A.J. Croce has travelled a circuitous musical road.
The son of legendary singer-songwriter Jim Croce, A.J.’s career has spanned over 20 years, at the age of just 18 he toured with B.B. King. An ivory-searing New Orleans piano style established an essential juju, but his exploratory pop gems revealed a spectrum of influences from art rock to Americana and beyond. His bluesy vocals and pop sensibility complete his unique sound.
On 11 August, A.J. Croce released his new album Just Like Medicine, which includes the first ever recording of 'The Name of the Game', the last and previously unreleased song by his father, Jim Croce. Read more about 'The Name of the Game' in this article by Rolling Stone.
