Students & Concessions
Music for everyone, always.
We’re passionate about sharing great music far and wide, and our doors are open to everyone. That’s why under 25s, students and people who receive Jobseekers’ Allowance or Universal Credit can purchase £10 tickets* for most Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra concerts, subject to availability.
You can purchase these tickets in person, online or by phone – but you’ll have to pop into Box Office to collect them, as we’ll need to see proof of eligibility.
If you’re a student, we can only accept ID that’s issued by a university and includes a photo and expiry date.
*Concession tickets aren’t available in the boxes, or price bands A and B. Discounts don’t apply to Music Room concerts, Family Concerts, MT Jones and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Bill Ryder-Jones performs If... and other works, Killer Queen on New Year's Eve and Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, and may be limited for other events. Under 25s concessions tickets also can’t be purchased for Family Concerts.
Gift Cards
Special occasions: sorted.
A great night out makes the perfect gift – and here at the Phil, great nights out are what we’re all about.
Treat your friends and family to a Liverpool Philharmonic gift card they can exchange for any of our events. So whether that special someone is into classical, rock, pop, folk, comedy or film, we know they’ll find something they’re going to love.
We’ll email the gift card to you or the lucky recipient on the date you choose, and they’ll have 12 months to use it from the date of receipt.
If you’d like the gift card to be posted out, just get in touch with our Box Office.
For full T&Cs, click here. And remember to pass T&Cs info on to the recipient too – we don’t want your gift to go to waste!
Booking fees & levy
A 10% administrative fee applies for online and phone orders. If you opt for postal delivery, a £2.50 postage fee will be added to your order.
Booking fees don’t apply to in-person transactions, or if you’re using credit to book.
And if you’re a Silver Member and above, you won’t pay booking fees on any Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra tickets. Find out more about our membership options here.
E-tickets are delivered to your inbox and can be printed out at home, or just scanned on your device as you arrive for the event.
Ticket prices for all events (except Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Youth Company concerts) include a £2 levy. This money goes towards preserving our iconic Hall, supporting vital maintenance projects around our venues.
