‘This partnership between Hindoyan and the Liverpool orchestra is one to watch as it grows: the potential is huge’ – The Telegraph

Domingo Hindoyan has been Chief Conductor of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra since 2021. In his time at the Phil, he’s received rave reviews, introduced our musicians and our audiences to a whole range of new and exciting music including Latin American and European repertoire we've never played before. He's brought us standout concert performances of opera including Rusalka, and released many critically acclaimed recordings too.

When he’s not here with us in Liverpool, he’s appearing with orchestras around the world including Los Angeles Philharmonic, Czech Philharmonic, New York Philharmonic and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. A huge opera fan, he’s led productions at The Metropolitan Opera, Berlin State Opera, Paris Opera, Vienna State Opera – and he’s also Music Director of LA Opera.
