Liverpool Philharmonic presents a number of concerts during the afternoon, often a more convenient time for many people to enjoy a musical interlude during their busy day. Join us for a break in your week with world class performers, beautiful masterpieces and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.

All Friday concerts start at 1.30pm, making it easy to get in and out of the City Centre, with plenty of parking available at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral or on the street.

Friday afternoon concerts will feature our conductors speaking to the audience to help explain aspects of the music.  A lot of you have told us that this really helps you get more from the concert. We’d also like to invite you have a drink and mingle with Orchestra members and staff in our Grand Foyer before each concert.

All tickets are one price – just £25 or £8 for under 25s/claimants. So if you book early, you could get fantastic seat in the boxes, stalls or grand circle!

The Sunday Afternoon Classics concerts each start at 2.30pm. Ticket prices vary, with most concerts starting from £15. £7 tickets for under 25s/claimants are also available.

Why not make an afternoon of it and enjoy lunch beforehand at The Refinery, Liverpool Philharmonic’s Dining Partner. Situated on the corner of Liverpool’s Hope Street and Myrtle Street, The Refinery is just across the road from the Hall. It combines a friendly and relaxed feel with the buzz of a city centre venue.
