Royal Liverpool Philharmonic KS3 Concert 2018

This scheme of work for KS3 pupils will introduce many of the pieces of music which will be performed by the orchestra, as well as providing suggestions for both active listening and creative responses to the music.

The scheme of work consists of:

The Witch

During the concert the young people will get the opportunity to sing as part of a massed choir with the orchestra. Please learn the song in class before you come to the concert.

This section includes all the resources for teaching The Witch to your class:

• Lyric sheet
• Two audio tracks – one with choir to help you learn the words and one backing track with no choir to get the children used to singing it with the orchestra
• The piano score
