Under 5s Concerts 

Our Under 5s concerts introduce the magic of a live orchestra to our youngest audiences. 

Performed by musicians from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, these concerts are always a real musical adventure. They’re relaxed, informal and specially designed to let little ones explore new and familiar classical pieces through movement, songs and interactive fun.  

Taking place in our Music Room, plus venues in Barrow too, we welcomed 823 toddlers and their families to nine Under 5s concerts in 2025.

Family Concerts 

As our audiences grow up, we have even more music ready and waiting for them to explore. 

Every season, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra brings a series of performances perfectly crafted for 5–10-year-olds. We deliver seasonal celebrations, family films with live accompaniment, and orchestral explorations of everything from outer space to the jungle.  

And through all this fun, we know we’re inspiring a lifelong love of music – and all the joy, inspiration and opportunity it can bring.  

Last year, 5,316 people enjoyed the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra’s Family Concerts here at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.
