Schools’ Concerts have been a regular fixture of our season since the 1940s, igniting a love of music early in life for generations.

Every year, our Schools’ Concerts are a huge hit with schools across the city, with some classes even travelling from as far afield as Wales and Yorkshire to experience the magic they create.

In fact, every year we welcome 18,000 children from over 300 schools, introducing young people to the power and beauty of orchestral music, often for the first time.

And we know that so many of these school children grow up to be regular Phil visitors – so the rest, as they say, is history…
