Born in Liverpool, Roger McGough is President of the Poetry Society and one of Britain's best loved poets. He rose to fame in the sixties with the publication of the groundbreaking collection The Mersey Sound. Tonight as we celebrate 50 years of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, he is joined by Mike Jones, Lecturer of Music Industries at University of Liverpool…ready for your questions.
If you’ve ever left a concert wanting to learn more about the performers or repertoire performed, this is your chance to ask! Join conductors and soloists in an informal question and answer session starting 15 minutes after the end of the concert in our Music Room. The events are free to all ticketholders and last approximately 30 minutes.
